Job summary

Total Safety U.S. Inc. is seeking a Rescue Technician to provide technical rescue standby for customer projects, including confined space and rope rescue.

You will assist in risk assessments, prep rescue plans, and ensure rescue equipment is ready for operation. The role also involves on-site first aid, CPR, and coordination with EMS as required. The position requires travel to customer sites up to 75% of the time and adherence to client safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certification or proven training in confined space rescue and rescue operations.
• First Aid with AED/CPR training or certification preferred.
• Experience with incident reporting and safety analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical rescue standby for confined spaces and rope rescues.
• Assist in risk assessment and preparation of rescue preplans and RSA.
• Inspect, clean and maintain rescue equipment to keep readiness.
• Conduct daily job briefings and monitor work conditions.
• Render first aid/CPR and coordinate with EMS when needed.
• Travel to customer sites up to 75% of the time.
