Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Rescue Registered Nurse for the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. You will perform rapid responses, Code Blue support, and critical care interventions, collaborating with ICU staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.

The role requires an IL RN license, BSN, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and 2+ years in ED/ICU; CCRN/CEN preferred. Expect 36-hour weeks with day/evening coverage, and a strong focus on patient safety and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current IL RN license.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred or required.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years ED or ICU RN experience required.
• CCRN or CEN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
• Respond to unplanned clinical events and rapid response activations.
• Participate in governance, mentoring, and audit activities.
