Job summary

Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, IL seeks a Rescue Registered Nurse to join the Rapid Response/Alert Team. This full-time role focuses on high-acuity situations, Code Blue events, rapid responses, and critical care interventions to improve outcomes and patient experience.

Responsibilities include providing expert nursing care, collaborating with ICU staff, leading assessments for critical events, and mentoring others. Requires BSN, IL RN license, BLS/ACLS; CCRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current IL RN license.
• Minimum 3 years of critical care nursing experience.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications preferred (within 3 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Respond to unplanned clinical events and provide initial assessment for critical care activation.
• Lead expert nursing interventions to improve outcomes during high-acuity events.
• Collaborate with ICU staff and unit leadership and participate in governance and audits.
