Job summary

Pinellas Point Nursing is seeking an RN with MDS experience to join our team as an MDS Coordinator. You will develop, implement, and coordinate the RAI process to ensure compliance with standards, physician orders, and company policies.

The role requires active RN licensure in the state and knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid programs, OBRA, and MDS/RAI processes. Prior long-term care nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid, LTC payer systems, OBRA, RAI/MDS processes preferred or prior long-term care nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and coordinate the RAI process for MDS.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards, physician orders, policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

As an MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring the center stays in compliance with current professional practice standards, physician's orders, company policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.

Entry Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse RN licensure in the state of practice required
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA), the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility
