Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator RN to lead the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process in our Durham facility.

You will ensure compliance with professional standards, physician orders, company policies, and state and federal regulations while developing, implementing and coordinating the MDS/RAI workflow. RN licensure and knowledge of OBRA and Medicare/Medicaid are required or prior long-term care nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice required.
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, OBRA, the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility

Entry Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse RN licensure in the state of practice required
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA), the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility
