Job summary

Southern HealthCare Management seeks an experienced RN with MDS experience to join our team in Florida as an MDS Coordinator. You will develop, implement, and coordinate the RAI process, ensuring compliance with professional standards, physician orders, company policies, and all local, state, and federal regulations.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely assessments, and collaboration with nursing staff to optimize resident care.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in Florida
• Working knowledge of MDS/RAI processes; OBRA familiarity is a plus

Are you an RN with prior Minimum Data Set (MDS) experience? Then come join our Team!

As an MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring the center stays in compliance with current professional practice standards, physician's orders, company policies and procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.

Entry Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse RN licensure in the state of practice required
• Working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs, LTC payer systems, the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (OBRA), the RAI process, and the MDS process preferred OR prior nursing in a long-term care facility
