Job Description

• Continually and proactively canvasses the resale customer base to develop relationships, gain, report out, act on market/competitive information and solve customers’ equipment problems.
• Proactively market resale equipment in the region with an overall emphasis on reducing costs and maximizing average price.
• Provide service to the resale client base in assigned territory via phone/face to face with the ability to manage simple negotiations.
• Oversee asset management of all resale equipment in the region.
• Monitor inbound units coming off lease.
• Monitor the repair process with our vendors as it relates to resale equipment.
• Successfully reposition units in the most cost effective way to maximize sales price.
• Work with resale customers, lease customers, depots, truckers, terminal.
• Assist counterparts in other regions with inter‑regional booking of equipment.
• Oversee accounts receivables for assigned clients/territory.
• Convey confidence and positive attitude about the company to the client base.
• Evaluate and forecast upcoming market conditions as it relates to the resale business and set market pricing for all types of equipment by specific port location.
• Effectively make decisions on the spot to resolve customer issues.
