Simon & Schuster US is seeking a Reprints Design Manager in New York responsible for making design changes to backlist files, routing internally, and archiving final assets for reprints. This role handles jackets, covers, interiors, slipcases, inserts, and related components across corrections and set ups.

You will collaborate with Managing Editorial and Production, attend weekly reprint meetings, and coordinate with printers to resolve file issues and violations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with backlist design files and print production workflows.
• Ability to route files internally and coordinate with printers.
• Experience in creating and correcting jacket, cover, interior, and slipcase components.

Responsibilities

• Attend the weekly Reprint Meeting.
• Work with Managing Editorial and Production departments.
• Route mechanicals and resolve file problems with printers.
