MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a Registration Clerk to support the Waterloo Medical Center in the patient intake process. You will gather patient demographics and insurance information, enter data into the system, and help pre-register tests.
This full-time day shift role requires clear English communication, basic medical office experience, and proficient computer skills. You will follow HIPAA, EMTALA, and safety policies while delivering compassionate service to patients.
Gathers patient demographic and financial information and enters into computer system. Assigns patient rooms, prepares appropriate documentation and transports/escorts patient to assigned area.
