What We Do – Accountabilities
- Ensures accurate entry for order types requiring special handling, unique support, or urgent assistance, typically TPO, PTO, International, and occasionally time sensitive closeouts
- Ensures proactive communication and partnership between customers, relevant business partners, and Order Management leadership regarding order issues and changes
- Prioritizes order entry requests to ensure orders meet purchasing / shipping deadlines and visibility for forecasting, escalating for assistance cross functionally when volumes risk SLA Commitments
- Creates and maintains customer profiles and/or templates detailing customer specific requirements for entry
Essential Functions
- Provides timely and accurate order set up and proofing for all complex order set ups (aka TPO, PTO, International) and closeouts (as resources allow) for all Caleres Brands using preferred system tools (e.g., SAP, Fiori Upload, OE Template, Connect, etc.)
- Participates in systems and process training and development for staff that enhances quality of service and reduces/eliminates manual activities
- Proactively communicates order exceptions to appropriate parties when necessary
- Uses a consistent, efficient Order Entry process following established guides and best practices
- Monitors, keys, and maintains the sample logs as needed for CAL1, CAL2, LDC, SAM
- Distribute order confirmations as customers require, and automation cannot solve needs
- Identifies opportunities for process improvement and recommends solutions
- Assists with special projects, as needed
- Assures achievement of individual KPIs and objectives
- Occasionally assists in administrative elements of onboarding new team members
- Adheres to established procedures, executing routine tasks independently
Preferred Qualifications & Education
- BS/BA in Business preferred
- 1-3 years Retail / Wholesale experience (B2B Preferred)
- Good communication skills required
- Detail oriented
- Computer experience
- Basic MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook
- SAP (S4HANA, Fiori) or equivalent a plus
- Power BI Reporting a plus
