Ellsworth Adhesives is seeking an Engineering Sales Representative to develop and manage the Charleston, SC sales territory remotely. The role focuses on presenting engineered adhesive solutions to customers and driving growth across aerospace, electronics, medical devices, and more.

You will build strong customer relationships, coordinate testing with clients, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver targeted solutions.

Formación

• 3+ years of industrial B2B sales experience in specialty chemicals preferred.
• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical or business field preferred.
• Must have reliable access to a personal vehicle and maintain current auto insurance.

Job Description

Ellsworth Corporation, a global, industry leading distributor of specialty chemicals and equipment and adhesive manufacturer currently has an Engineering Sales Representative opportunity at Ellsworth Adhesives. This role reports into SCD, an Ellsworth Corporation company, and is a fully remote role, however, candidates must live within the Charleston, SC area where the sales territory is located. Responsibilities

• Determines and presents the customer with potential engineered solutions for customer applications, and coordinates application testing with the customer
• Establishes professional customer/vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other key personnel)
• Partners with key stakeholders from internal departments, customers and vendors to ensure that the customers' needs are being addressed
• Participates in periodic meetings to maintain technical knowledge of specialty chemical solutions and effectively utilizes technology to efficiently manage their territory
• Identifies and pursues new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and grow sales in assigned territory

Requirements

• ~3+ years of industrial business-to-business sales experience, experience in the specialty chemical market preferred
• ~ Bachelor of Science degree required, within a technical or business-related field preferred
• ~ Must have reliable access to a personal vehicle for daily use throughout assigned territory
• ~ Must maintain current automobile insurance that meets Ellsworth policy requirements
• ~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 applications
• ~ Holds integrity paramount to all, followed closely by customer service, quality, collaboration, teamwork, drive, compliance, hard work, discipline, accountability and continuous improvement
• Ability to build strong internal relationships inside the company, together with cultivating an external network outside the company

• Frequent daily travel within the assigned territory. Some overnight travel as required for training and business meetings.
