Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a junior trade support associate to assist the Global Markets Sales desk with REPO and Rates Derivatives execution. You will work closely with sales and trading desks to review and confirm trades under pressure, and handle day-to-day trade bookings and confirmations with clients.

The role requires a finance-related degree, Excel proficiency, and a collaborative, fast-paced mindset with an interest in financial markets.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in financial services preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, or related field.
• Motivated, diligent learner who can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Excel and able to learn internal and industry applications quickly.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Interest in General Financial Markets.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Markets Sales desk who service clients with execution of REPO and Rates Derivatives.
• Review, confirm, and facilitate high-pressure trade flows in collaboration with sales and trading desks.
• Provide day-to-day support in trade bookings and client contacts for trade confirmations and settlement.
• Liaise with collateral management, settlements and other teams to ensure post-trade steps are completed.
