The Retirement Benefit Services Division (RBSD) provides benefits that exceed $1 billion. Services include eligibility and calculation of service and disability retirements, pre- and post-retirement survivor benefits, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of weekly and monthly benefits.
Our RBSD – Internal Revenue Code 415b and Roll Processing Unit is currently seeking an Analyst II to perform complex analytical duties pertaining to the Replacement Benefit Plan, applying federal limits to benefits, annual billing and collection of monies due for the program, processing of our weekly and monthly benefit rolls, and drive our CalPERS Mission.
This position is eligible for an office-centered hybrid schedule with up to two days of telework and three days or more on-site, per week.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship. CalPERS does not participate in E-Verify for employment authorization purposes.
Effective July 1, 2025, The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025). PLP 2025 directs that each employee shall receive a 3 percent reduction in pay in exchange for 5 hours PLP 2025 leave credits, monthly. The salary range(s) included in the job advertisement do not reflect the 3 percent reduction in pay.
