Job summary

Artisan Design Group, a Lowe’s company, is seeking a Repair Technician to support in-home service and warranty repairs across our cabinetry and finish installations. You will perform touch ups, door/drawer/frame replacements, and assist with cabinet assembly while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read a tape measure; you must supply basic tools and have familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in cabinetry, carpentry, or related fields preferred.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to read a tape measure.
  • Must supply own basic tools (miter saw, brad nail gun, impact driver, hammer, screwdrivers, caulk gun, tape measure, jigsaw, multitool, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Basic math skills/ability to work with fractions.
  • Ability to learn and enter information into internal computer programs.
  • Ability to manage time throughout the day to complete all scheduled jobs.
  • Knowledge of installation processes based on manufacturers' specifications.

Responsibilities

  • In-home service and warranty repairs (touch ups, door/drawer/frame replacements, molding installation).
  • Assist with cabinet assembly as needed.
  • Taking detailed notes and photos of issues on site.
  • Completing all jobs scheduled daily with clear communication to scheduling team.
  • Assist in training new hires.
  • Clear communication with homeowners during warranty repairs.
  • Compliance with safety standards on job sites and warehouses.

JOB SUMMARY

MetroKraft Interiors is a trusted interiors partner specializing in flooring, cabinetry, countertops, and finish selections for residential and commercial projects. By combining industry expertise with exceptional customer service, we provide high-quality products, innovative design solutions, and a seamless experience for builders, contractors, and homeowners.

The Repair Technician executes day-to-day operations of service and warranty repairs through accuracy, engagement, professional communication, and "Superior Service" as a standard for our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In-home service and warranty repairs (including but not limited to: touch ups, adjustments, door/ drawer/ frame replacements, installation of shoe and crown molding, etc.)
  • Assist with cabinet assembly as needed
  • Taking detailed notes / photos of any issues noticed on site
  • Completing all jobs scheduled daily; having clear communication with the scheduling team
  • Assist in training new hires
  • Clear communication with homeowners during warranty repairs
  • Compliance with safety standards in all areas (jobsite, warehouse, etc.)
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
