Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a hands-on technician to refurbish gaming equipment and repair PC boards in Reno, NV. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair depot items, using diagnostic fixtures and technical manuals to ensure quality standards are met.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of repair experience, basic PC skills, and the ability to follow procedures. Prior soldering experience and familiarity with gaming hardware are a plus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of hands-on repair, production, assembly, testing, or related experience.
  • Basic PC skills and ability to use Microsoft Office or similar tools.
  • Ability to follow technical manuals, work instructions and repair procedures.
  • Willingness to learn depot repair processes, tools and systems.
  • Attention to detail and ability to complete repairs accurately.
  • Certificate or associate degree in Electronics Technology preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics preferred.
  • Experience with gaming equipment or repair depot processes preferred.
  • Soldering capability incl. surface-mount and through-hole preferred.

Job description

Requirements

  • Able to manage assigned work and complete tasks on time
  • Certificate or associate degree in Electronics Technology or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics (preferred)
  • Experience working with gaming equipment, electronic components, or repair depot processes (preferred)
  • Soldering capability, including surface‑mount and through‑hole components (preferred)
  • Experience using advanced electronic test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or diagnostic fixtures (preferred)
  • Experience with parts handling, inventory support, equipment handling, or repair support processes (preferred)
  • Experience with SAP or similar business systems (preferred)
