Transco Rail Services in Texarkana, AR is seeking a Repair Technician I (Welder) to perform basic repairs on rail car components, following layouts, work orders, blueprints, and schematics. You will work in a TEAM environment and help with safe, efficient maintenance.

You will use pneumatic/hydraulic tools, grinders, jacks, cutting torches, forklifts, and cranes, read specs, and lift up to 50 pounds. Drug screen and physical are required; benefits and 401k available.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass drug screen and physical.
• Lift up to 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
• Ability to work in adverse weather and in a team.
• Read specifications, shop drawings, schematics and blueprints.
• Perform basic repairs on metal or weldable materials per layouts and work orders.
• Knowledgeable or willing to learn air brake test.

You will repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches.
