Job summary

Flow Control Group's Pumps and Controls division in Arlington, TX is seeking a skilled Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and service water treatment equipment. You will inspect units, disassemble, replace parts, document work, and communicate with customers and internal teams about status and recommendations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, trade certifications, and hands-on experience with hand and power tools, schematics, and repair tickets.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; technical training a plus.
  • Certification in relevant trade or technical field preferred.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and repair ticketing software.
  • Proven experience as a Repair Technician or similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electronic troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
  • Good communication and customer service; able to work independently or in a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment.

  • Keep up-to-date with new products and repair techniques.
Qualifications
  • Certification in relevant trade or technical field (e.g., CompTIA A+, HVAC certification, ASE certification).
  • Experience with inventory management systems and repair ticketing software.
  • Experience in Profit 21 a plus Valid driver’s license (if field work is involved).
  • Work Environment: Workshop, warehouse, or field setting depending on the role.
  • May involve exposure to noise, dust, and heavy equipment.
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Repair Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical and/or electronic troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and manuals.
  • Good communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment (if applicable).
