Job summary

Pumps and Controls, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry/Customer Service professional in Arlington, Texas. You will handle daily order entry from multiple channels and coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.

• Basic understanding of order entry and data management systems (Epicor Prophet 21 experience a plus).
• Familiarity with small package shipping processes (UPS/FedEx) and basic LTL freight procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily order entry from phone calls, emails, online orders, and faxed purchase orders.
• Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding purchase orders, shipping and delivery schedules, special-order items, and pricing discrepancies.
• Assist customers with product selection based on application requirements and customer needs.
• Support day-to-day customer service activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Provide professional and responsive communication to customers through phone and email correspondence. Work collaboratively with sales, purchasing, and warehouse teams to support overall customer satisfaction.
