Job summary

Surface Experts is seeking a Repair Technician in the Charlotte area to repair bathtubs, countertops, cabinets, flooring, appliances, and other hard surfaces.

You will complete an average of four high-quality repairs daily, follow our proven repair process, and communicate professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• Experience with hands-on repairs and problem solving.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Complete ~4 high-quality repairs daily across surfaces (bathtubs, countertops, cabinets, flooring).
• Follow proven repair process and match colors/textures for near-invisible fixes.
• Maintain organized tools/vehicle and document work in company software.
• Provide exceptional customer service and represent Surface Experts professionally.

What You'll Do

• Complete an average of four high-quality repairs each day while managing your schedule efficiently and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Repair bathtubs, countertops, cabinets, flooring, appliances, furniture, and other hard surfaces.
• Learn and follow our proven repair process.
• Match colors, textures, and finishes to create nearly invisible repairs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate professionally with customers.
• Document completed work using company software.
• Keep your company vehicle, tools, and materials clean and organized.
• Represent Surface Experts professionally at every jobsite.
• Take pride in doing the repair right the first time. We value high‑quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and working efficiently without sacrificing the quality of the finished repair.

What We're Looking For

Successful technicians often come from construction, painting, manufacturing, auto body, cabinet finishing, flooring, facilities maintenance, woodworking, military service, or other skilled trades.

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• Experience working with your hands through work or hobbies
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to distinguish and match colors accurately
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Dependability, integrity, and a strong work ethic
• The ability to work independently while supporting your team

Artistic experience is a plus but not required. If you enjoy creating, repairing, restoring, or building things, we’ll teach you the rest.
