Job summary

Above Roofing Inc. is seeking a reliable repair tech apprentice to join our repair department. You’ll follow instructions, work with others, and adhere to safety protocols while growing your skills in roof repairs.

This full-time role offers paid training, a $500 sign-on bonus, and opportunities for advancement alongside a 401K match and a health reimbursement account. On-site work in Michigan with potential evening/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Reliable and hardworking repair tech apprentice.
• Ability to follow instructions, work well with others, follow safety protocol, and be detail-oriented.
• Teachable and eager to grow.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Repair Tech in performing roof repairs, including re-flashing chimneys, step-flashing dormers, re-flashing skylights, repairing valleys, patching sections with missing shingles, etc.
• Assist in other roof work such as insulation, venting, gutter & gutter guard.
• Be available to perform emergency repairs - some may involve evening & weekend work.
• Work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision
• Maintain a clean and organized truck
• Help maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Communicate any questions, problems, etc.
• Attend weekly repair meeting.
