Job summary

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is seeking a Repair & Shop Technician to perform professional ski/snowboard/bicycle services and communicate service recommendations to guests. The role also supports Hoback Sports with rental and retail needs to ensure quality experiences.

You should be physically fit, mechanically inclined, and knowledgeable about the ski/snowboard/bike industry. Prior repair experience is preferred; familiarity with JHMR is a plus.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Mechanically inclined to operate repair equipment.
• Knowledge of the ski/snowboard/bike industry.
• Repair experience preferred.
• Basic familiarity with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide repair and tuning services for skis, boards, and bikes.
• Complete service work with accuracy and efficiency.
• Check in/check out customer repair work and communicate results.
• Recommend service options to customers clearly.
• Order repair parts through distributors as needed.
• Support Hoback Sports rental and retail departments.
• Assist with bike builds and repairs for the shop.

Position Overview

To perform professional level ski/snowboard/bicycle technical services as well as manage effective communication with customers about service requests. This role also supports the rental and retail departments with necessary service needs to ensure quality customer experiences at Hoback Sports.

Job Duties

• Provide excellent customer repair and tune services.
• Complete service work on skis/boards/bicycles with accuracy and efficiency
• Check in/Check out customer repair/service work
• Effectively communicate service recommendations to customers
• Research and work with management to order necessary repair parts through a variety of distributors.
• Support Rental Department in servicing/upkeep of winter/summer rental fleets
• Support Retail Department with bike builds and repairs as needed
• Ensure that every guest has a quality experience at Hoback Sports
