Job summary

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming is seeking a Winter Seasonal, full-time Park crew member to assist with daily terrain feature setup, inspection and maintenance per the JH Park Handbook. You will patrol venues, check fences and signage, promote safety, and operate snowmobiles as directed by the Snowmobile Handbook while supporting park leadership and guest safety goals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic terrain feature maintenance.
• Awareness of Ski Area operations.
• Expert snowboarding/skiing ability.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Previous experience in the ‘trades’ EX: construction, welding, heavy equipment

Responsibilities

• Assist lead with daily duties including setup, inspection, logs, and maintenance of terrain features.
• Circulate through venues checking fences, signage, and terrain features.
• Promote safety and goodwill through direct communication with guests.
• Acquire safety practices pertaining to equipment and terrain features.
• Operate snowmobiles as directed by the Snowmobile Handbook.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the park supervisor or lead.

Job Duties

• Assist lead in completing daily duties as outlined in the JH Park Handbook. (Set- up, inspection, logs, and maintenance of terrain features)
• Circulate through all venues checking fences, signage, and terrain features.
• Be a team player. If you see something that looks like it needs to be done- Check in with the lead
• Promote safety and goodwill through ‘one on one’ communication with our guests.
• Acquire acute safety practices pertaining to the above mentioned activities and other related equipment.
• Operate snowmobiles as directed by the JHMR Snowmobile Handbook.
• Execute Skier Safety tasks as obligated by JHMR standards.
• Posses abilities to do most work unassisted in shop
• Handrail construction/ Repairs/ Painting (Exception: Welding) as directed by lead
• Perform other duties as assigned by the JH Park supervisor or lead
