Job summary

Gables Engineering, a HEICO company, is seeking a Repair Operations Coordinator to drive the repair lifecycle of aerospace components and serve as the primary liaison among customers, engineering, production, quality, and logistics.

You will coordinate repairs from intake through delivery, support quotes, and maintain comprehensive documentation, while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely communication via portals and email.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating repair orders in aerospace or a related field.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.

• Proficiency with ERP systems and document control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of repair orders from intake to delivery.
• Support quotation activities and monitor progress to meet requirements.
• Prepare and maintain repair documentation including: work orders, certifications, invoices, shipping documents, traceability records.
• Serve as primary contact for customers on status, turnaround, pricing, warranties, and AOG escalation.
• Monitor emails and portals for timely responses.
• Maintain accurate information in customer portals and ERP systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and logistics to expedite repairs.
• Manage digital documentation scanning, indexing, and retention.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Support special projects and operational initiatives.

What You'll Do

As a Repair Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring repairs are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with aerospace industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of repair orders, from intake and evaluation through shipment and customer delivery.
• Support quotation activities and monitor repair progress to ensure customer and contractual requirements are met.
• Prepare, review, and maintain repair documentation, including:
• Work orders
• Certifications
• Invoices
• Shipping documents
• Traceability records
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding:
• Repair status updates
• Turnaround times
• Pricing and quotations
• Warranty determinations
• Escalation of critical AOG (Aircraft on Ground) situations
• Monitor customer communications through email and web portals, ensuring timely responses and prioritization of urgent requests.
• Maintain accurate information in customer portals and internal ERP systems.
• Partner with engineering, production, quality, and logistics teams to resolve issues, expedite repairs, and improve operational performance.
• Manage digital documentation processes, including scanning, indexing, and record retention.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvements within repair operations.
• Support special projects and additional operational initiatives as assigned.
