Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc. in Wichita, KS, is seeking an MRO Repair Design Engineer to support aerostructures non-conformance disposition, repair design, discrepant hardware evaluation, repair concepts, technical substantiation, and repair documentation.

This onsite role requires a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and experience in aerospace repair design. The position may be filled as full-time or contract, with collaboration across Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, Design

Qualifications

• Experience in Repair design with CATIA V5 and GD&T of Aero structures metallic and/or composite structures.
• Engineering release/change control, repair substantiation
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, Design, and Certification teams.
• Preferred: Fuselage, nacelle, pylon product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Experience in Repair design with CATIA V5 and GD&T of Aero structures metallic and/or composite structures,
• Engineering release/change control, repair substantiation
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Stress, Design, and Certification teams.
