Southeast Texas HR is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility in Beaumont, TX. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position with 12-hour days, 5 to 7 days per week, and pay of $25+ per hour DOE.

You will repair and maintain machinery and equipment such as boilers, conveyors, motors, and production line tools using testing devices and hand tools. Candidates must have 2+ years of industrial repair experience, be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for 12 hours, and

Responsibilities

• Performing routine maintenance on boilers, such as replacing burners or hoses, installing replacement parts, or reinforcing structural weaknesses to ensure optimal boiler efficiency.
• Dismantling machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
• Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.

Job Description

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team at a Manufacturing Facility in Beaumont, TX. This will be 5 to 7 days per week, 12 hour days, and pay will be $25+ DOE per hour. This is a temp-to-hire position. You will be repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, production machines, and equipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools, and precision-measuring instruments.

Responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine maintenance on boilers, such as replacing burners or hoses, installing replacement parts, or reinforcing structural weaknesses to ensure optimal boiler efficiency.

Requirements

To be considered for this position youmustmeet the following requirements:

• Ability to stand for 12 hours per shift.
  
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  
• 2 or more years of experience in Repair and Maintenance of industrial equipment.
  
• Ability to pass pre-employment requirements including a drug test.
  
• MUST have lace-up steel toed boots, all other PPE will be provided.
