Job summary

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician for a Manufacturing Facility in Beaumont, TX. This temp-to-hire role involves 12‑hour day shifts, 5 to 7 days per week, with pay starting at $25+ per hour DOE.

You will repair and maintain machinery and equipment including boilers, conveyors, motors, and related tools using testing instruments and power tools. Candidates must have 2+ years in industrial maintenance and wear lace-up steel‑toe boots.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in repair and maintenance of industrial equipment.
• Welding experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment requirements including a drug test.
• Lace-up steel-toed boots required; PPE provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on boilers and production machinery.
• Dismantle machines to access defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
• Repair equipment with hammers, hoists, drills, and precision instruments.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using blueprints and manuals.

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a Repair and Maintenance Technician to join our team at a Manufacturing Facility in Beaumont, TX. This will be 5 to 7 days per week, 12 hour days, and pay will be $25+ DOE per hour. This is a temp-to-hire position. You will be repairing and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipmentsuch as pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, production machines, andequipment using testing instruments, hand and power tools, andprecision-measuring instruments.

Responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine maintenance on boilers, such asreplacing burners or hoses, installing replacement parts, or reinforcingstructural weaknesses to ensure optimal boiler efficiency.
• Dismantling machines, equipment, or devices toaccess and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or powertools.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures,using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment suchas precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.
• Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them, checking blueprints, repairing manuals, or parts catalogs, asnecessary.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this position youmustmeet the following requirements:

• Ability to stand for 12 hours per shift.
  
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  
• 2 or more years of experience in Repair and Maintenance of industrial equipment.
  
• Prefer experience in welding.
  
• Ability to pass pre-employment requirements including a drug test.
  
• MUST have lace-up steel toed boots, all other PPE will be provided.
