Schedule: 1st Shift: 3:00 AM-3:00 PM, 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM-3:00 AM

Must-Have Requirements
- 1-2 years of mechanical maintenance or repair experience
- Experience repairing and maintaining machinery or mechanical equipment
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems
- Experience working with pneumatic tools, motors, conveyors, or production equipment preferred
- Ability to use precision measuring and testing instruments
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work safely around production machinery and equipment
- Reliable attendance and ability to work a 12-hour shift
Position Summary
The Repair and Maintenance Technician is responsible for repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery and mechanical equipment used in a production environment. This position will work with pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems, production machinery, boilers, and other equipment. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable using hand and power tools, and able to diagnose problems and complete repairs with moderate supervision.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on boilers, including replacing burners, hoses, and other components
- Install replacement parts and reinforce or repair equipment as needed
- Dismantle machines, equipment, and mechanical devices to access defective components
- Use hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools to safely remove and replace parts
- Repair machinery and equipment using hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, and other tools
- Use precision measuring instruments and electrical or electronic testing devices as needed
- Diagnose mechanical problems and determine appropriate repairs
- Review blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs when troubleshooting equipment
- Inspect equipment for wear, damage, or potential problems
- Complete assigned maintenance and repair work according to established procedures
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned
Additional Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- 1-2 years of relevant mechanical maintenance or repair experience
- Manufacturing, production, industrial, or plant maintenance experience preferred
- Experience with conveyors, motors, pneumatic equipment, or production machinery is a plus
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work with moderate supervision
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new equipment and maintenance processes
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and components
- Ability to work around machinery, moving equipment, noise, heat, and other industrial conditions
- Ability to work a 12-hour shift
