Job summary

Dow Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Beaumont or Orange, Texas. You will provide maintenance craft support, diagnose and repair equipment, and coordinate parts and planning to ensure reliable plant operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1+ year of experience with process equipment; US work authorization is required with no visa sponsorship. Proficiency with SAP and MS Office is preferred, and occupational safety is a must.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with basic process equipment (pumps, blowers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
• US work authorization: eligible to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and corrects equipment problems.
• Calibrates and aligns equipment.
• Completes preventative maintenance activities.
• Checks sizing of components and parts.
• Specifies, requisitions, and installs parts and equipment.
• Coordinates maintenance spare parts.
• Assists in planning, prioritizing, and scheduling maintenance.
• Repairs, maintains and installs equipment and machinery used in the process.
• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctions and documents failure analysis.
• Collects equipment operation and history data for reliability improvements.
