Job summary

Mortgage Connect LP is seeking an REO Contract Analyst to review and audit REO purchase contracts and related addenda for accuracy and compliance. The role involves coordinating with asset managers, real estate agents, and internal teams to gather missing documentation and ensure proper execution before closing.

You will also handle post-sale deed intake, auditing, scanning, indexing, and uploading records.

Qualifications

• Requires strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with REO contracts or real estate documents is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and mortgage servicing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Review REO purchase contracts and addenda for accuracy and compliance.
• Verify terms, pricing, buyer/seller info, and contingencies align with guidelines.
• Identify and resolve errors or inconsistencies in contracts.
• Ensure required addenda (HUD, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac) are included.
• Communicate with asset managers, real estate agents, and internal teams to obtain documents.
• Track timelines and flag issues that could delay closing.
• Maintain organized contract files for audit readiness.
• Audit post-sale deeds for accuracy and completeness.
• Scan and index deeds, upload to the system, route exceptions for correction.
• Support other teams with operational tasks as needed.
