Job summary

PLACE Corporate Careers is seeking a Contract Due Diligence Compliance Analyst to review loan files and fees for regulatory compliance, working across Data Capture, Credit Review, and Transaction Management teams. This is a remote role open across the United States.

You will verify documentation, capture required data, audit salability, document discrepancies, and ensure timely, accurate reviews. Strong knowledge of LauraMac and mortgage regulations, plus excellent communication, are essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in Quality Control/Due Diligence/Secondary Market and fraud review preferred.
• Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and documentation.
• Ability to meet production quality and service standards.
• Strong technical aptitude with Slack, Zoom, GSuite, and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with detail-oriented, organized approach.

Responsibilities

• Review loan packages and data files to identify required documentation for review.
• Capture information from documents and bookmark sources for easy access.
• Audit loans to determine salability and accuracy of documentation.
• Identify and document discrepancies, tracking issues throughout the process.
• Enter data from LEs, CDs, and COCs into system of record and run analyses.
• Record exceptions for incorrect/missing documentation and data errors.
• Research rebuttals and responses to findings.
• Maintain cross-functional communication to meet expectations and timelines.
• Run system logic on captured information and manage exceptions accordingly.
• Apply validations to ensure complete and accurate review.
• Accurately track time spent on reviews.
