Newrez is seeking a REO Closing Specialist II to manage a portfolio of Under Contract Real Estate Owned assets across multiple states. The role requires handling 100–200 assets, ensuring accurate closing documents, timely closings, and coordinating with closing agents, attorneys, and brokers.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of real estate closing experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong negotiation and customer service skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced closing environment.
• Capable of basic mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company policy, procedures, and timelines.
• Manage a multi-state closing portfolio of 100–200 REO assets.
• Review and clear title and closing documents for accuracy.
• Ensure wires are received and funds posted correctly.
• Train and oversee closing agents’ performance.
• Maintain strong partnerships with closing agents, attorneys, and real estate agents.
