Harnish Group Inc. is seeking a Rental Technician for the Anchorage, AK branch. You will diagnose and repair CAT, Allied and Genie equipment, troubleshoot engines and hydraulic systems, and prepare accurate service orders while maintaining strong communication with customers.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) with vocational training, a valid driver's license, and the flexibility to work in the shop or in the field to assist customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years vocational/technical training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with CAT products and diagnostic equipment preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in shop or field environments.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar, Allied and Genie equipment.
• Diagnose engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Plan and control job costs; ensure accurate service orders.
• Communicate effectively using internal software and tools.
• Assist customers in shop or field settings as needed.
