Job summary

N C Machinery Co. is hiring a Rental Technician in Anchorage, AK to diagnose and repair CAT and allied equipment in the field or shop. You will remove, repair, assemble and install components, focusing on engines, powertrains, and hydraulic systems with CAT diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience with CAT equipment ideal.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar, Allied and Genie or aerial equipment including removing, repairing, assembling and installing.
• Diagnose engines, powertrains, electrical and hydraulic systems; use CAT diagnostic equipment and tooling.
• Plan and control job costs and resources.
• Communicate findings and complete service orders accurately.
