Total Tool, a NEFCO company, is seeking a Rental Technician in Saint Paul, MN to maintain our fleet of rental tools and support the rental process. You will organize the tool rental departments, operate and test equipment, and perform minor repairs, while delivering exceptional customer service to every client.

You will collaborate with sales and vendors, stay informed on current products, prioritize daily workflow, and help maintain a safe work environment by following safety standards.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Ability to learn new software.

What You Will Do:
As a Rental Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of rental tools and equipment and facilitating our rental process. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Organize and maintain tool rental departments.
• Operating and testing equipment.
• Performing minor repairs on equipment.
• Complete rental process for all customers providing exceptional customer service to everyone.
• Prioritize daily department workflow.
• Maintain exceptional communication with co-workers and management to assure the accuracy of inventory.
• Partner with vendors regarding part and repair questions.
• Work with sales staff to fulfill customer requirements.
• Stay up to date and informed on new and current products and services offered.
• Assist in maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to safety standards.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Previous Construction industry experience or knowledge preferred.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
• Highly motivated.
