Connect Rentals seeks an experienced technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair equipment and vehicles in a fast-paced environment. You will conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, follow service manuals, and ensure safety and reliability for customers.

The role emphasizes clear communication with clients, adherence to regulations, and collaborative teamwork. A clean driving record and drug test are required; ownership of personal tools is expected.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
• Plan routes effectively to optimize travel time and fuel usage.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
• Keep company vehicles clean and in good appearance at all times.
• Safely and properly operate and inspect machines, vehicles, and/or engines to diagnose defects.
• Must be capable of removal and installation of components by following the appropriate service manual.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all components of equipment including but not limited to engines, power trains, hydraulics, fuel systems, power generation, and electrical codes.
• Provide timely work on each job to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Formally document the work done on the equipment.
• Occasional overnight stays may be required during busy season
• Work well with co-workers and assist others when needed including assisting the wash technician with getting equipment ready for rent.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Physical Requirements

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, working outdoors in the environment can be exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. Lifting over 50lbs is a job requirement. Must not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. Must have the ability to sit, stand, lay on ground, bend over, and move intermittently
