Job summary

Okemo Mountain Resort is hiring for a Winter Seasonal Rental Associate in Ludlow, VT. You will deliver world‑class guest service at our retail shop, help guests select and fit rental gear, and explain equipment operation and safety.

You may also cashier or assist in retail, with training provided. The role requires a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends, fluent English, and the ability to stand and move actively in a team setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.

• Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
• Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options
• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard

• Other duties as assigned

Rental associates are responsible for generating sales through world‑class guest service, assisting customers with rental equipment and providing our guests with gear and services for the ultimate outdoor experience.

Role

A Rental Associate team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

• Mountain Activities
• Retail Rental operations
• Food and Beverage Support
• Ticket sales or scanning
• Lift Operations
• Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is $20/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
