Job summary

Vail Resorts in Park City, UT is hiring Rental Associates for the 2026/2027 winter season. You will deliver world-class guest service, fit guests with rental gear, and support our mountain operations across multiple departments.

Starting wage is $20 per hour with full-time and part-time hours; housing is available. Excellent training, employee ski passes, and discounts accompany this seasonal role, with opportunities to grow through our Epic Service program.

Qualifications

• Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry
• Ability to stand and move in an active, team-oriented environment for extended periods

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service at one of our retail shops
• Fit guests with equipment - we'll train you!
• Explain to guests how to operate rental equipment, safety practices, and guest responsibility for the equipment during the rental including length of rental and return options
• Work together with teammates to maintain safety standard
• May include other duties such as cashiering, retail sales
• Other duties as assigned

A Rental Associate team member is a flexible employee who often works across multiple departments and in various roles to support the one resort mentality which could include one of the following:

• Mountain Activities
• Retail Rental operations
• Food and Beverage Support
• Ticket sales or scanning
• Lift Operations
• Base Area Operations

The expected pay range is 20.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
