Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners is seeking a Rental Technician for the Winter 2026/2027 season at Pajarito Mountain in Los Alamos, NM. You will help guests select and fit ski or snowboard equipment, adjusting settings for comfort and performance.

You will answer questions about rental procedures, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean, safe work area while delivering friendly, professional service in a fast-paced winter environment. Seasonal with weekend/holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of skiing and other winter activities preferred.
• Skill in Google Workspaces and standard computer interfaces.
• Skill in providing expectation-exceeding customer service to all guests.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with guests and co-workers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Available to work on weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Issue proper and well-fitting rental equipment to guests.
• Adjust equipment settings in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
• Inspect equipment for damage, malfunction, and compatibility.
• Process returned equipment and store it in the appropriate locations.
• Be knowledgeable of the range of equipment offered.
• Answer guest questions in regard to rental procedures, the ski area, and Resort operations.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
