Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Belmont, CA. You will be part of a supportive team, assisting customers with products and services, and using U-Scan to manage rentals and inventory.

The role involves inspecting equipment, moving trucks and trailers, and providing friendly service to travelers. On-the-job education is offered; a hire bonus may apply in some cases. Minimum qualifications include a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Customer service orientation and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to use technology to dispatch and manage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers and inspect equipment.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returns from rental.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
