Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Customer Service Representative in Concord, CA to greet customers, assist with rentals and equipment, and ensure a smooth experience at the center. You will use U-Scan tech to dispatch and return gear, move and hook up trucks, and help customers with questions.

The role offers on-the-job education, a fast-paced environment, and a compensation range of $16.90 to $17.50 per hour. Applicants must have a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license; nicotine policy applies.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
