Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Warwick, RI is seeking a Rental Sales Management Trainee. This fast-paced program touches all aspects of the business unit and develops your industry knowledge, skills and relationships to advance within the company.

The program is designed for 18–24 months, with a potential 12-month track, and includes structured weeks, rotational Saturdays, competitive pay plus OT, and a full benefits package including a 401(k) match and RyderShares discount.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or similar related field is required.
• One year or more of customer service experience with issues resolution is preferred.
• Intermediate computer literacy is required.
• Travel is None and DOT Regulated No.

Responsibilities

• Handle sales and process inbound and outbound calls.
• Maintain data accuracy in the marketing database.
• Generate rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads.
• Manage rental asset processes including vehicle PM and cleanliness standards.
• Support location and regional management with sales and marketing initiatives.

Essential Functions

• Handling the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
• Responsible for generating rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads
• Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle Pm and cleanliness standards
• Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing the sales and marketing initiatives
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies
• Reconcile all customer concerns, issues and disputes in order to maintain the ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base

Additional Responsibilities

• On a voluntary basis as well as based on scheduling, the Rental Management Trainee will be required to perform the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation Information

Pay Type: Salaried

Minimum Pay Range: 55,000

Maximum Pay Range: 55,000
