Ryder System, Inc. in Holland, MI is hiring a Rental Management Trainee to gain hands-on experience across sales and operations. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, build customer relationships, and support location and regional management during an 18–24 month program.

The program offers structured weeks, possible promotion from within, competitive pay with OT, full benefits, and opportunities to relocate after training. A Bachelor's degree and computer literacy are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required business administration or similar related degree
• One year or more customer service with issues resolution experience preferred
• Must be computer literate intermediate required

Responsibilities

• Handle the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
• Responsible for generating rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads
• Manage all rental asset processes to include Vehicle PM and cleanliness standards
• Meet overall Ryder market share by successfully executing the sales and marketing initiatives
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies
• Reconcile all customer concerns, issues and disputes in order to maintain the ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base

Essential Functions

Additional Responsibilities

• On a voluntary basis as well as based on scheduling, the Rental Management Trainee will be required to perform the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation Information

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
