Ryder System, Inc. offers a Rental Manager Trainee program that moves you into sales, operations, or management with real growth potential.

The track is designed for 18–24 months, with an option to finish earlier, and includes structured weeks, possible Saturday rotation, and internal promotion. You’ll support location and regional management, handle inbound/outbound calls, and build relationships while gaining industry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is required.
• One year or more of customer service experience with issue resolution is preferred.
• Must be computer literate at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Handling the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database
• Generate rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads
• Manage all rental asset processes including Vehicle PM and cleanliness standards
• Meet overall Ryder market share by executing the sales and marketing initiatives
• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies
• Reconcile all customer concerns, issues and disputes to maintain relationships and grow the customer base

Essential Functions

• Handling the sales and process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation
• Maintain current and accurate data within the company's marketing database

• Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies
• Reconcile all customer concerns, issues and disputes in order to maintain the ongoing relationships and grow the current customer base

Additional Responsibilities

• On a voluntary basis as well as based on scheduling, the Rental Management Trainee will be required to perform the role of On-Call Representative based on work schedules as determined by Supervisor.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation Information

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
