Job summary

SIXT in San Francisco Airport is hiring a customer-focused sales specialist to drive rental bookings and upsell upgrades while delivering outstanding service. You will greet customers, analyze needs, and guide them through the rental process with a professional, friendly approach.

The role emphasizes upselling and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment. A strong service mindset and flexible hours, including nights and weekends, are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Proven sales talent with upselling and closing experience.
• Experience in retail, hospitality, banking, B2B or car rental with a service mindset.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer interaction skills.
• Comfortable in a commission-driven environment and under pressure.
• Willing to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Earn an hourly rate of $24 with the opportunity to earn uncapped bonuses, resulting in an average salary range from $106k up to $175k with unlimited earning potential.

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You are the first point of contact for our customers – friendly, professional and passionate about sales and service
• You pleasantly greet and guide all customers through the car rental process, building rapport and identifying needs from the first moment
• You prepare rental agreements and confidently upsell vehicle upgrades, protection packages, fuel options, and additional services to maximize every interaction
• You meet and exceed sales goals through successful upselling and cross-selling, motivated by performance-based earnings
• You handle customer inquiries with urgency and professionalism, always organized, service-oriented and with a smile

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You are a proven sales talent with upselling and closing experience, motivated by targets and direct customer contact
• You bring valuable experience from sectors such as retail sales, hospitality sales, banking, B2B, or car rental, with a service-oriented mindset and a track record of building customer relationships
• You possess excellent verbal communication skills and enjoy direct customer interaction
• You are comfortable working in a commission-driven environment and thrive under pressure
• You are willing to work various shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays, with a flexible approach to working hours
• You have a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record and are authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship
