Job summary

SIXT in New York seeks a customer service and sales oriented associate. You will be the first contact for customers, confidently upsell upgrades and services, and prepare rental agreements while ensuring a smooth, friendly experience.

This role offers flexible hours, weekend availability, a base hourly wage of $21.00 with uncapped bonuses, and a strong benefits package including health coverage and 401k.

Qualifications

• Sales-focused with upsell and closing ability (targets)
• Direct customer contact experience preferred in retail, service, tourism, or hospitality
• Fluent in English, good communication
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends/holidays
• Valid US driver’s license with clean driving record

YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You are the first point of contact for our customers – friendly, professional and passionate about sales and service
• You confidently upsell vehicle upgrades, protection packages, and additional services, turning every customer interaction into a special experience
• You prepare rental agreements and handle customer inquiries, organized, service-oriented and always with a smile
• You meet and exceed sales goals and maintain expert knowledge of the full SIXT fleet and all products

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You love sales and have proven upselling and closing skills – motivated by targets and customer contact
• You have experience in direct customer contact, ideally in retail sales, service, tourism, or hospitality
• You are communicative and articulate in English
• You are flexible, team-oriented and bring full energy to shift work, including weekends and holidays – whether full-time or part-time
• You have a valid US driver's license with a clean driving record
