Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring for an on-site role at our airport rental counter. You will rent vehicles, process contracts, and upsell products to enhance travelers' experiences. A friendly, customer-focused approach helps build loyalty and satisfaction.

Base pay starts at $15.50/hour with a commission/bonus plan and potential for additional earnings. This fast-paced position requires flexibility across shifts and on-site presence in Alcoa, TN. Training and employee discounts are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication skills and a professional, customer-focused mindset.
• Valid Drivers License is required.
• Basic computer/data-entry skills.
• Willingness to upsell based on customer needs.
• Ability to work all shifts as required.
• On-site role; remote work is not available.
• Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Experience in real estate, retail, or consultative sales is a plus.

In this role, you’ll work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where your sales skills and service mindset directly impact both customer satisfaction and your earning potential.

What You’ll Do:

You will be responsible for renting vehicles and promoting our products and services at our airport rental counters. This includes processing rental contracts, actively listening to customer needs, and recommending products and services that enhance their travel experience. You’ll use a consultative approach to upselling while delivering professional, friendly service that builds trust and customer loyalty.

What We’re Looking For:

• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
• 6 months real estate, retail, or consultative sales experience in a fast-paced environment is a bonus
