Job summary

Avis Rent a Car-Sioux Falls is seeking a Rental Sales Agent to build lasting customer relationships and guide clients in selecting the right vehicle. You’ll demonstrate vehicles, handle objections, and work toward sales goals with a supportive team.

The position offers a base wage DOE plus a lucrative commission/incentive plan and comprehensive training, with opportunities for career growth and company-supported education. Training and advancement are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of experience in a role where sales and/or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Ability to use proven sales techniques while providing a positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales-driven, self-motivated, personable and dependable.
• Basic computer skills to input information into the database.
• Willing to work a varied and flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and create customers for life by assisting them in selecting a vehicle.
• Be the vehicle expert, knowing product offerings, packages and features.
• Demonstrate new/used vehicles with high quality and professionalism.
• Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
• Direct report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, activities, reviews, and analyses.
• Bring a positive attitude and your best effort every day.
