Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Rental Account Manager to drive the primary rental sales/marketing function at the BU level. This role focuses on commercial rental and trailer services, aiming to increase rental revenue, profitability, and ROA while supporting lease sales productivity across the organization.

The RAM will develop leads, coordinate with operations, maintain strong client relationships, and manage contracts and data integrity to fuel growth and profitability for Ryder's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or 5 years equivalent job related experience.
• 1+ year sales experience or equivalent sales training required.
• 3+ years sales experience preferred.
• 1+ year or more industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads through cold calls, telephone solicitation and customer visits; assess needs and develop a proposal.
• Coordinate with rental operations to ensure equipment availability; market at branch level and train staff in telemarketing.
• Maintain customer relationships through visits and calls; handle complaints and support long-term rentals.
• Prepare proposals and contracts; maintain customer files and ensure data accuracy in the DPS system.
