Job summary

LMM is seeking a Rental Partner Coordinator to lease or sublease units for TIP programs, including Family TIP and YHDP joint TH-RRH models. The role focuses on housing units, owner relations, inspections, and rent determinations to help clients exit homelessness.

The RPC will coordinate with project staff, perform data entry in HMIS, and participate in meetings and trainings. Requires HUD/CoC housing resources knowledge and a valid Ohio driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associate's/Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Experience working with people experiencing homelessness and related populations preferred.
• Deep understanding of HUD/CoC housing resources and philosophies (TH, RRH, Housing First) preferred.
• HUD HQS/NSPIRE training within first 6 months; existing certification a plus.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance.
• Reliable transportation and use of a personal vehicle between locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain program files and data using Excel, HMIS; ensure timely data entry.
• Attend meetings and participate in quality improvement and trainings.

Position Summary

The Rental Partner Coordinator (RPC) is responsible for leasing or subleasing units for the agency's Transition in Place (TIP) programs including Family TIP and the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) joint Transitional Housing / Rapid Re-Housing (TH-RRH) model. These programs provide flexible, scattered-site affordable housing to help individuals and families exit homelessness.

Some of the duties include:

• Search for housing units and promote the agency TIP programs (online/via phone/in person)
• Develop strong relationships with and serve as primary contact for property owners/managers
• Ensure all units pass inspection and coordinate needed corrections with owners/managers
• Conduct in-person property inspections, rent determinations, and comparable market analyses to assess unit condition, rent reasonableness, and overall site suitability
• Explain and secure agreements/contracts including RFLA, HAP, master lease, addenda
• Work with Special Project Facilitator to ensure owners/managers receive timely payments
• Coordinate and oversee furniture distribution and move-ins for new tenants
• Collect and track program files and data using Excel, shared drivers, internal database, and HMIS
• Work with the Data Specialist to ensure data is entered timely and completely, in compliance with funder and agency requirements.
• Attend and actively participate in all required meetings including weekly case conference calls
• Actively participate in agency-wide activities including quality improvement and staff trainings
• Work closely with other RPC and Housing Manager to share above duties and others as assigned
• Perform computer-based administrative tasks, including preparing documents, maintaining electronic records, and entering and managing data using Microsoft Office and other applications

Qualifications

• Our ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED; Associate's/Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Some experience working with people experiencing homelessness, veterans, people with substance use disorders, people with re-entry backgrounds, and/or other relevant social service populations, preferred.
• Deep understanding of HUD/CoC housing resources/philosophies (TH, RRH, Housing First, etc.) preferred.
• Be HUD inspection (HQS/NSPIRE) trained within first 6 months of employment, existing certification is a plus.
• Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance required.
• Reliable transportation and use of a personal vehicle between assigned locations required.
