Job summary

Pengate Handling Systems is hiring a Rental Manager to lead day-to-day Rental Department operations, including team management, equipment coordination, inventory, and profitability. You will work with Sales, Service, Dispatch, and Accounting to ensure rentals are prepared, delivered, tracked, and returned efficiently.

We seek a candidate with 2–3+ years in rental operations or related fields and prior leadership experience.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years in rental operations, fleet management, or related field.
• Previous management or leadership experience.
• Rental industry experience preferred, strong customer focus.
• Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CRM/ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Rental Team, including hiring, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Manage daily schedules, workloads, and department priorities.
• Coordinate rental quotes, contracts, and documentation.
• Ensure equipment is prepared, delivered, and returned efficiently.
• Track inventory, fleet activity, and department profitability.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records in systems.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service, Dispatch, and Accounting.
